Meal #5

Meal #5

Medium metal bowl

2 cups diced turkey
1/2 cup cumin or curried sauce*

Mix together in bowl until coated

Medium skillet

1 cup sweet white wine
3 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon ginger (candied preferred)
1 clove garlic or 1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon cumin or curried sauce

Stir occasionally and simmer on low until butter is melted

Baking Pan

Spray with non-stick cooking spray

Roll out one crescent dough sheet on the pan

Brush butter mixture onto dough.

Spoon out turkey mix on top of sheet.

Roll over the turkey and dough either crescent rolls or crescent roll dough. Cut into triangles. Brush butter mixture on top of rolls.

Bake 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.

I also like rolling up the triangles before adding the additional butter and baking them, thus calling them Spiced Turkey Rolls.

* I will show off my recipe for a cumin sauce later.
